She would have spent her precious hours worrying about the road, effectively paying a Shadow Scale Tax for a journey that might not even happen.

She realized that by worrying about tomorrow's "Siege," she was leaking the very energy she needed to finish Manual 1 today. Her mind was trying to run Justification Processing, pre-calculating the "failure" of her home goals if the gate opened early. 📉
